Patricia Carolyn Alcorn Clepper

Carolyn Alcorn Clepper, 70, of Liberty, TX, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011. She was a long time resident of Baytown, and a secretary for Texas Rehabilitation Commission in Baytown for 30 years. She was a member of Hardin United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and she loved spending time with her family. She had two grandsons who were the light of her life. Steven Beau Broussard, a graduate of Texas A&M and South Texas College of Law where he received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence. Daryle Kade Broussard, also a graduate of Texas A&M, and is now a musician in Austin, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bowers; parents, Leonard and Thelma Alcorn; brother, Durwood Alcorn; sons, Steve Clepper and Randy Clepper.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Clepper Broussard and husband Fred; grandsons, Steven Beau Broussard, Daryl Kade Broussard; niece Deborah Alcorn King, nephew, Richard Durwood Alcorn, eight great nieces and nephews as well as many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Hardin United Methodist Church, Hwy 146 and FM 834 in Hardin.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, at Caldwell Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell, TX.
