Keith Anderson 1967-2010

Keith Michael Anderson, 43, born March 26, 1967 entered into eternal rest September 27, 2010. He was employed by the City of Houston Municipal Courts. Keith is preceded in death by his grandparents: Alexander Anderson, Lem & Lena Clepper. Left to cherish his memories: mother, Barbara Anderson; sister & brother-in-law, Jill R. Barrs & husband Michael; nephew, Bryar J. Barrs, U.S. Marine Corp; father & step-mother, Kenneth Anderson & Betty; grandmother, Ann M. McClellan; great aunts: Ida Mae Johnson, Gertrude Mitchell; great uncle, Alvin Imhof & wife JoAnne, along with other loving family and friends. Services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, October 2nd with visitation beginning at 9:00AM at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel.


A pedestrian was killed while walking along FM 1960 around 5:40 a.m. Sept. 27.

According to Harris County Sheriff’s Office accident investigator W. Zermeno, a male driver traveling eastbound in the 1700 block of W. FM 1960 near Ella struck the victim, Keith Anderson, who was walking westbound in the roadway, heading for a bus stop.

Anderson died at the scene, Zermeno said, due to injuries sustained in the crash.

No charges have been filed against the driver at this time.

On September 27th, 2010, at approximately 05:40am Troynell Rivers was operating a motor vehicle traveling eastbound in the 1700 block of W FM 1960 and struck a pedestrian who was walking westbound in the roadway on W FM 1960 toward a bus stop. The complainant identified as Keith Anderson died at the scene due to injuries sustained during the crash.

He was my second cousin; my grandfather Wesley Clepper and his grandfather Lem were brothers.
